Hardwood refinishing and repair - thank you

If you need refinishing in Calgary and surrounding areas, for sure Advantage Hardwood is the company to call. We had damage in one area of our home and repairing it vs. replacing it was risky due to the age and condition of the wood throughout the main floor. They were honest from the beginning and kept us informed throughout the process.. We cannot believe how great they turned out-they look brand new. The crew was quick and professional which was appreciated after living in a hotel for 5 nights! Advantage Hardwood is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Thank you for the Speedy Response

We had just taken possession of our new home and decided the hardwood floors needed some care. I literally queried hardwood floor care on the internet and Advantage Hardwood came up. We contacted Tanya at about 2 pm. She said they could come take a look at the floors at 5:30 pm. that same day. Ivan felt the floors would benefit from a deep clean and a re-seal, and we could delay refinishing the floors right now. We had our furniture move is just four days so we were under pressure to get the work done. Tanya and Ivan made themselves available over the following two days and completed the work. They were amazing to deal with and offered great advice and products for the floors going forward. We would highly recommend Advantage Hardwood. Thank you!

Tanya and Ivan from Advantage H. are awesome! My engineered hardwood floors had a thick layer of wax, oil buildup from when I moved into my home 1 year ago, and was nearly impossible for me to clean. They resurfaced my floor and polished it to perfection. Very professional, courteous, and ready-and-willing attitude to go the extra mile in getting the job done to our satisfaction. They acknowledged my concerns and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I hardly ever write reviews, so when I do, it’s either because the service was exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. As you probably guessed, Advantage hardwood was exceptionally good

My 14 year old wood floors were in terrible shape. I was considering replacing them but I hired Advantage to refinish the floors instead. They explain the whole process, communicate every step of the way, and do exactly what they say they will do. They showed up when they said they would, and thanks to them our hardwood floors look brand new!

They were focused, hard-working, and professional, and provided daily updates. Every step of the way was easy and our floors now look outstanding. We didn’t think that our damaged floors could be fixed so seamlessly. I would highly recommend them to all

I was looking for a professional to refinish the floors in my new home and I was very picky about who I chose to do this. The problem was, there was no separation between the kitchen floor and my living room floor that did not need refinishing. I was worried that there would be a glaring difference between the newly refinished kitchen floor and the existing living room floor. I discussed this with Ivan and he told me where he thought the best spot would be to end the sanding and that he would do his best on the match. After the work was completed I was amazed to see that the match was absolutely perfect. The new kitchen floor looks amazing and the transition between rooms is seamless. I cannot say enough great things about Advantage Hardwood! They are like the unicorns of the contracting world--legends say companies like this exist but are rarely ever seen. Highly recommend
