We don't have a Lowe's in Oak Harbor so I took the time to visit the store in Mount Vernon. The layout is a bit confusing but employees were available to point me in the right direction and to answer questions. Pricing and selection are similar to competitors. So look for sales and choose best for what you need.

After spending tens of thousands in the last year at Lowes, I have a faulty Venetian blind. I am told by two different associates that they cannot help me. So much for service after the sale.

They sold me a propane tank but it was faulty and would not let any propane out. I explained this to the customer service rep (then the manager) but they refused to return or even exchange it. Their suggestion was to lose my money on a full propane tank and pay for another refill with a new tank. The manager smerked as he told me that I would need to contact the propane company myself. I would never treat my customers like this!!

Absolute joke for customer service. All I continued to hear was pay pay pay. I scheduled a carpet detail, a week later it was performed with a promise of installing the carpet on a certain date. DID NOT HAPPEN! Now im out the $50 gor the carpet detail. Carpet installer would not return phone calls. Lowes automated phone system wasted more time than I could afford. Finally had to walk into the store to get answers.... Buy from local buisness is my best advice.
