We stopped over at The Ledge on our way to Whistler. The coffee from this place was superb and the whole car enjoyed the banana bread they had made. Seriously, if you need a pit stop you have to try the local cafes rather than StarB's

I've been a coffee bean chaser for quite awhile, and love the fact the Ledge is using Elysian Coffee. They really know how to dial in an espresso over there. Starbucks or any other mainstream place doesn't even stack up IMO , with with flavor profile.

Love the space, service and coffee. There are two floors - upstairs has bigger, cushiony chairs. I would give it a 5 if they have more substantial food options. Bigger sandwiches, or not all baked goods, some filling non gluten stuff. Right now they have baked good and small grilled sandwiches that are sufficient ad a snack but not as lunch - for me anyway.

Tasty coffee and even better pastries and waffles! Still thinking about there waffles a day later.

I've made a point to visit most of the coffee shops in town. The Ledge is the best place to head if you're looking for somewhere to get work done. It's quieter than Zephyr or Cafe Garibaldi, but isn't restrictive about computer use like 1914 Coffee Company. The space inside is huge with lots of different seating options, upstairs and downstairs. Fast wifi, lots of outlets. Comfy chairs or large tables depending on your preference. The art inside is great and they seem to promote a lot of local artists. There's a stage at the back for live music, though I haven't attended any here yet. The coffee is great. Better than Zephyr, probably a slightly lighter roast. My only gripe is that the hours are limited.
