Jeff was very helpful. We were looking at backsplashes for our kitchen. He was able to answer our questions too. Very professional.

Knowledgeable staff and good selection of product. You can get items here that you cannot buy elsewhere. Much better than a big box store.

Update 12/6/17: I've been tripping over the metal piece the installers placed between our kitchen and living room. Almost fell on my face. The piece was never nailed in properly and wasn't anchored to the tile or our hardwood floor. Just shows the subpar job Rycus did for us. Now the metal piece is bent, nails are exposed and my husband will have to fix it himself. What a waste of money! My advice: Stay as far away from Rycus as you can or you'll end up having to do the job correctly yourself. Unacceptable!!! Very disappointed regarding our installation. The workers did a sloppy, rushed job and when I spoke to them about it, they blew me off. Nails weren't pounded in all the way and the trim is crooked and uneven. When I addressed issues with the installers, I was told it wasn't their responsibility but "the painter's job." What painter? Guess that falls on my husband to make their crappy job look better. Where our dishwasher goes, the Rycus staff had a big piece of vinyl flooring sticking out. They said it was no big deal. Well, it was a problem and my husband had a terrible time getting the dishwasher in. So much so that he had to yank the dishwasher back out and trim the floor himself for it to fit properly. By the way, we wanted to put our new dishwasher in prior to the floor installation but the guy who did our estimate said we had to wait (6 - 8 weeks) because they were going to put flooring in that space. On the day the floor was laid, another staff person said there was no room to put flooring there due to the water line and drain pipe. After they were done with the job, the installers left us a huge mess! Lots of dust and pieces of wood all over our kitchen and down our stairwell. We are still finding chunks of wood and debris in our basement. Real nice, especially since they said the burning smell was from old lead paint. There was a fog of smoke (from burning paint) billowing into our living room and down the stairs, let alone the kitchen. And we have two young sons! The only positives I can report are that the sales staff were very nice and helpful. Also, so far, the floor looks nice (save a couple minor spots where they didn't cut it accurately). Hopefully, it will hold up. My advice, save yourself the money and put the floor in yourself (at least you'll know it will be done right). This was very expensive and overpriced for what we got.

Very unprofessional installers and unethical sales people. From the owner to the sales and install manager. If you live on Lansings Southside you will be fine because your expectations will be low. If you have high expectations and have something higher end i would steer clear. Very very poor install skills. Once they have your money upfront you are screwed. BEWARE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best floor team in Lansing. Beautiful job on my floor tile, removal and replacement in a 1955 home.
