I went there on a weekday mid-morning (not typically a busy time). There were 4-5 staff members and including myself 3 customers (1 of them who came in a minute after me). I was there for 10 minutes wondering around trying to get some help and no one even said a word to me the entire time. No hello or can I help you. Yet the person who came in after me was served. I understand if they're busy but at least have the courtesy to say hi and that someone will be with me once they finish up. Or at least put the pricing on your samples otherwise it's completely useless to browse on your own. I went to three other flooring stores in Guelph and got much better treatment - rather give them my business even though this place has good reviews and did seem to have some nice things.

I run a preschool daycare and needed to change the carpeting after 15 years. I went to Bigelow's show room and Michelle was more than accommodating, knowledgeable & patient. I picked out the rug that I wanted and she ordered it for me right away. From start to finish their first hand knowledge have made my time with them go very smoothly. The rug installers were very professional and my room looks amazing. Thank you so much Garth, Craig and Michelle for making my experience with you so wonderful. I have and will continue to recommend Bigelow flooring to anyone!

Approximately 7 years ago we experienced water damage in our home and the carpet needed to be replaced. Bigelow Flooring's performance was excellent. But it is the subsequent events that earn them my praise and thanks. The carpet we received had a manufacturing flaw and soon after experienced tufts and fraying. Garth organized multiple visits to try and repair the areas and finally had the manufacturer look at the carpet, without any success. Garth never stopped corresponding with the manufacturer. He wanted this corrected. I am please to say that Bigelow Flooring was ultimately successful and not only did we get our carpet replace with no cost but Bigelow Flooring honoured their commitment to their customers and provided the installation without cost as well. A level of professionalism and commitment that is rarely seen. Thank you Bigelow Flooring.
