Amazing store for area rugs! Very helpful staff. Competitive pricing and selective stylish designs. I will be shopping here again!

Went here looking for matching area and runner rug. I had previously checked out the website so I knew which set I wanted to purchase. Jamie said she didn't have them in stock but would order them for me. I fully understood this. She took my information and told me she would be in contact with me the following day.I waited three days, no call. Gave her a call and was told she wasn't in that day. The lady took my information and said Jamie would be calling me. I waited another two days with still no call. So I called again. This time Jamie answered, when I asked about my rugs she had no answer. Once again she said she would call me back. Well it's been almost a month and haven't heard anything....not that I'm waiting anymore. I have since purchased my rugs elsewhere and glad not to give The Area Store my money. Jamie was highly unprofessional and clearly needs schooling for better management skills.

My wife and I went the Area Rug store on a weekend after we found an area rug we liked on their website online. We spoke to the Owner (Jamie) and got some information about the area rug we wanted to purchase. After speaking to Jamie she took our information and said she'd contact us on the following Monday. We never heard from her. My wife tried contacting her a few times and finally got a hold of her 4 days later. Her excuse for not contacting us was that she was waiting for a response from the person she orders her rugs from. Again she said she'd contact us and we still haven't heard a word from her up till todays date which is 2 weeks after we were originally there. Not very courteous or professional in our opinion and how hard is it to return a call or email updating us on the area rug we wanted to purchase. On the positive side, we decided to look somewhere else for an area rug and found it on Wayfair along with a matching runner for significantly less than what the price was from The Area Rug Store just for the one. I will NOT refer anyone to to this store and WILL tell people to look on Wayfair if they want to purchase an area rug with a better selection and price. Your loss Jamie and thanks for absolutely nothing.

The Area Rug Store has excellent selection and are very professional! Jamie knows her products and her installers are very skilled. We had our stairs done and the carpet looks great and feels great - the installation was perfect.

Had an area rug cleaned there, thank God they didn't charge us, it took them twice as long as it was suppose to then when we picked it up we had to return it cause it was so wet it was leaving puddles on the hardwood floors. Then we vacuumed with her rainbow vacuum and there was still soap in the carpet (rainbow has a water filter that bubbled when the soap) I spilled water on the carpet when I cleaned it up the carpet became white again I guess they didn't clean it right. They basically ruined the carpet as it is all matted since they washed it...so sad considering the cost of the carpet.
