Very nice local shop. I get that you save money driving to the city, but prices could be a tad lower. I love supporting local, however saving $100 on the same jacket is a major difference. Staff is very helpful however and always greet you when you walk in.

A little gem of a store. Staff are upbeat and very helpful. Always something new and unique. There book department has a variety of titles. Good old fashion candy selection too. Just be sure advised that you will suffer from the tourist crunch from May to September long term weekends.

Great surf shop featuring lots of billabong items, combined with fun gifts, books, housewares, games, treats, etc. Great for a wander through as you explore Gimli. Right along the scenic beach. Items are a tad expensive but you’re bound to find something you love and this is a good spot for finding gifts. Definitely a must see while you stop by Gimli!

We love going to this store with the kids every time we are in Gimli however this time we didn’t have our children with us , thank goodness. We happened to find several products in the store with obscene language on them. Like these novelty socks with the “f” word and other rude sayings on them and then close to the kids toys there was a pencil set/box with pencils with adult rated slogans on them including more f’n language. We were disappointed that there was no effort to pre warn parents that the next thing they saw or that small children would see was going to be off color and reminiscent of an adult kind of store. I wondered who ok’d the purchase of this kind of product for a store that we have been delighted with for so many years?
