I had hired a contractor to refinish my hardwood floor. He said he and his crew would have it finished in 4 days. Long story short, they started the job, but never finished, and left me with floors I couldn't walk on. I called every place I could find and no one would touch the job because it wasn't one they started. I was on a time limit and finally called Neal's. Nicole was awesome to work with, understanding and kind, Phil came and assessed my floors, gave me an awesome quote, also kind and easy to talk to, and Jay finished my floors for me, explaining everything I needed to know and very informative and easy to talk to. They saved me from my disaster and made it so I was able to move in on the day I was scheduled. And the floors look FANTASTIC!!!!I would recommend Neal's, definitely 5 stars in my eyes. I am beyond grateful.

We had all our oak floors sanded and refinished. Very impressed from the initial estimate to the finished product. Professional, courteous, great communication, and always on time. Floors look wonderful. Could not ask for better service. Bill Cramer Milford, CT

This company, and specifically the owner, is unresponsive and unpleasant to work with. If you have a small project stay away. It took over 8 weeks to have our 1,200 square foot house finished. Poor craftsmanship and very unreliable. Make sure to pay with your credit card card if you use them so you can recall the payment.

While the end result was fine, the lack of communication between the management and customer was unacceptable. On day 1 an unmarked van pulled into the driveway carrying two workers speaking limited English. They carried NO identification , NO Business card and wore nothing to indicate for whom they worked. The customer was required to call Neals each day at 8 am for their scheduled time. This would not have been a problem if someone on Neal’s end had answered the phone or returned the calls. A different crew appeared each day, not once at the time I requested. Neal’s was prompt in getting the sales staff to my home for an estimate, but once the contract was signed, the communication stopped. For that reason Neal’s Flooring would NOT be asked to return for other work.

Neil’s once again has proven to be a leader in the industry. I have used them numerous times throughout the years. I would like to thank Doug for his prompt response and quote, Linda for her on point customer service and of course the crew for an excellent job. Keep doing what you’re doing.
