Some good deals there.Also helps that I get a veterans discount of 10% . Not a 5 star from me because several times I can not find an associate for help, same goes for HD. Never any help when you need it.

Employees not friendly or that helpful. First, I went to the appliance department for a light bulb, for my 5 month old microwave. The young gentleman, who was in need of a bath, showed me where they bulbs were, but didn't have one the same size. He told me that the one they had was the same wattage, so it should work, and that the manufacturer changes bulb sizes all the time. ( sorry, I'm not believing it 100%) The bulb was $9 !!! At Customer Service I went to pay my husbands bill. The girl never said, 'hi', 'hello', "how can I help you?", When I approached the desk & asked her if I could pay a bill there. She just took it, and while processing it stated to me, "Is this all you're paying? You owe XXX$ . Since it was my husbands, and I had no idea what he owed or what the check was made out for, so I looked at the paperwork. He was paying the full amount of what the bill said he owed. I told the girl that he shops there all the time, so he must have purchased something since the last bill was generated. (Really, I didn't owe her an explanation) She gave me the impression that she didn't want to be there. I wanted to get some flowers over in the garden section, but there wasn't any signage for the flowers advertized in there flier and the one employee who was there was busy with a customer. Not too happy with today's experience. Think I'll try that other big box store over in Rockland next time.

Lowes has prettier, more decorative items than Home Depot in my opinion. Don't use the contractor hacks for either store, get your own reputable contractors for any project.

While my initial interaction with the service person in the appliances department was amazing. The follow through has been less than desirable. First, we were told they would try to expedite the delivery as we were without a dryer (no call was ever made). Second, they call on Monday and state they will be delivering on Wednesday between 8-12 and will call 15min before to notify us of there arrival. At 11:30, not so much as a call. I call the store and state that we were scheduled for delivery and am looking to see where they are at as after 12 we would be unavailable. Response was, "they do this every day, they will call you. We can't call them". Super helpful. I then reiterate that it would be helpful to know their status as we can't be home after 12 and if they will be after that, I don't want to waste there time. Response was simply "OK" in an extremely rude tone. Most likely will not do business with this company again...At least not anything that needs to be delivered.
