"WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS AGAIN!!" My parents bought a new hot water heater installed for $1600. So they come over and install the heater fine enough but used the old thermostat off the old tank which was one of the main problems with the old tank. WHEN I BUY A NEW PRODUCT I EXPECT THERE TO BE NEW PARTS ON IT! So they leave with out testing the system! then about an hour later the water is coming out of the taps SCALDING HOT! So hot that the taps upstairs were starting to seize because of expansion, not to mention a bit of steam coming out! So i go down to the basement to check out the water heater and i can hear the water BOILING inside the tank ( Cause of STEAM!! ). Also the pressure relief valve is spewing hot water and steam all over the place! So i had to shut the power off to the hot water heater to cool it down. Anyone how knows hot water heaters, knows there is a real risk of the tank exploding if the relief valve fails to release when a tank gets that hot! So i call them and the guy gives me a lame excuse like " We usually use the same thermostat because they're set how the customer likes it! " What you don't know how to set the thermostat to normal? Besides - WHEN I BUY A NEW PRODUCT I EXPECT THERE TO BE NEW PARTS ON IT! so anyway they say they'll send a guy over the next day to fix it! They send a apprentice over who doesn't even know how to install the new thermostat. He tells my dad that " HE'S NOT UP WITH THIS NEW TECHNOLOGY " :S So he goes and gets another OLD THERMOSTAT, because he know how to install them! So he says! but when he he tries to install it he strips the main bolt trying to get the old one out. Anyway he manages to get the new OLD THERMOSTAT in but the thing is loose on the connection and can be moved in and out of the tank about a HALF INCH! Anyway he leaves and the tank works alright now, but it's still not the new thermostat that should have came with the tank! WHEN I BUY A NEW PRODUCT I EXPECT THERE TO BE NEW PARTS ON IT! I am very frustrated with they're service and am scared to call them back, cause they might screw something up worse! and i "WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS AGAIN!!"

We had one good experience with Landry Brothers, fixing a leaky pipe by there plumber, he also checked on our tub and fixed a faucet and did a good job, then the next time we had a terrible experience with them, we had to get a new fan in our bathroom because of excess moisture, so when they came the said we needed a high power fan and they did not fix it that day because they had to order the fan and the fan finally came in and then there electrician Lionel, delayed and delayed, he kept calling or getting me to call him and he would say he would be in later that day, then he would call me back with some sad story about how he had to go to a seniors building and fix some huge emergency which sounded reasonalble at the time, but then after delays and delays we caught him in a lie and he said he was out on a call when my wife spoke to him on his cell and then she called the shop to complain and he was there celebrating the anneversary of the business so he totally lied to my wife.... I made this complaint known to the business but I think he still had his job, if I owned that business he would have been fired! Don't let Lionel from Landry brothers in louisdale work on anything you own because 90 percent of what he says is likely lies....
