New flooring in the bedrooms and hallway. Good workmanship, and finished quickly and efficiently. I was impressed with the selection of flooring, and the prices were reasonable -- better than expected.

The best part of the job was the tear out of our old main floor flooring, leaving a blank slate! I wish we were still there... There seemed to be little thought when starting out on the project, no mention from Danica (salesperson) that the supposed "premium" porcelain tiles we paid for might have an issue with curvature. We were told there may have been uneven parts of our subfloor so instead of self-levelling and taking time to make it right, they started tiling right away and then tried to blame the tiles we chose as causing the problem. The tiler had the gall to tell me that he wouldn't have chosen 12x24 but rather 18x18. Great advice now that the tiles have already arrived, thanks for that! Who's the flooring expert, someone in the business or the Consumer who likes the size of the more modern 12x24? Grout lines of .125" and they don't seem to be all fully filled in. They had to come back 3x to try and level some tiles and even now we are not happy with the end product, but what can we do? Tiles are pretty permanent. Tiler also tells me the last time he was here that Danica didn't work in Hamilton anymore because no contractors would work with her, add this guy to the list! After our job they have definitely parted ways, and if they have not ask them if their tiler setter's name is Guytano (Gaetano). If it is, RUN!!! Hardwoods were done fine, trimwork was shoddy at best and none of the nail holes or caulking was done. Just a terrible experience. It's possible we might at some point tear out our brand new kitchen installed over the flooring and hire TRUE professionals next time to do the job correctly. Our recommendation to go elsewhere for your project.
