We are so disappointed with the service that we have received from Rochester Linoleum & Carpet One. We will never go shopping at the store and we encourage anyone reading this review to not shop there either. The store was more concerned with the sales than having a happy customer. We went to purchase flooring for our kitchen. When we placed the order, we were told that it will take 2 to 3 weeks. We called to check at the 3 weeks, we were told it will be in next week. Next week came (4th week) and we received the same answer, it will be in next week. We tried to cancel the order they would not let us. Next week came and the same answer. We were finally mad. Our kitchen is torn apart and we still waiting for the floor. We go to store to cancel the order; the sales person said that he does not have the authority to cancel our order. He needs store manager or district manager approval. We go the next day, the store manager would not approve the refund, and the district manager would not either. On the last week (5 weeks later or 8 weeks from placing the order), the sales person told us that he would cancel our order if the order is not in next week. He said I will give it to you in writing. We took the note, just in case the order does not come in, but we know they won’t make a written commitment if they were not sure the order was not in the country. We finally received the call the order is here. We picked the floor. After, all the pain, suffering and disrespect that associated with this order, we have decided not to install the floor or look at it. We now have few hundred dollars worth of flooring material sitting in our garage. We can’t bear to look or walk on a floor that brought so much pain.

This place has to be the worse place to do business. I waited 5 months to have my carpet installed. I called probably every week to get an update on it and they would say next week. We also had a deposit we forgot about and I wanted carpet for another room in return for the deposit. I told them, and when the time came to install the installers had no idea about my room being done because the word wasn’t passed. 8,500$$ incarpet and it took 5 months for completions. And we’ll over a dozen phone calls. And after the head aches they still wanted to make money somehow. This place is just rediculous. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

Arrogant and disgusting people to answer any questions God forbid if you need any help.Francesca talks to you like she owns the damn place.Pathetic crew that came to install the carpets walked in with shoes covered in dirty rain water right on our hardwood floors.Not even a courtesy to call us and make arrangements to cover the area because they were going to walk around in shoes. Then they lied about stuff not being moved from closets that were never meant to be carpeted.Charged me $100 extra.Ok take it beggars.Never got a delivery call and had to call myself.It was delayed one day.Ok I get it.The crew just walked around our house and dropped heavy equipments anywhere they pleased.I will never ever recommend anyone to go such disrespectful people

I will never do business with them again. We purchased bathroom, living and dining room floors and had to special order stair noses. No one ever called to tell me the status of my order I had to call 3 times, I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes all to be told on my 3rd call that they are on back order. Well it would have been nice if someone would have told me that in the first place. I asked for a supervisor or manager and the merchandising manager gets on the phone which doesn't help at all, she just tells me the same thing. Don't waste your time and frustration with Rochester Linoleum. They have good products but their customer service in the horrible. If you want to pay for you flooring and also have to track it down, wait on hold all day and have nothing better to do with your time have at it .... but you've been warned!
