We were interested in a few products at the store but ultimately purchased carpet and laminate. Definitely good products to choose from, but the majority we looked are at premium prices. I found that products at the store cost about double what you find in a big box store, but the quality I would say is better than you will find at a big box as well. Installers did a very good job, but I was disappointed when they left 2 thresholds at doorways unfinished. When the unfinished thresholds was mentioned the installer said we could do that. Also Rick the Owner came in and measured my floor and I double checked his measurements and found he was about 7 boxes of flooring over what I believed we needed. I ended up going with my measurement, and ended up with only one extra box. The only reason I mention this is because they charge a restocking fee for product, which I returned at 25% of the product price. So if I would have gone with Ricks estimate it would have ended up costing me about $150 to return the extra flooring. Overall my opinion is the products they carry are premium quality products, which you pay a premium to buy. For the premium cost, I would say you get average customer service. Generally I try to support local independent business, as I find you get better service, but I would not return here, I found the service pretty average.

We have purchased several products and utilized many services from The Flooring Centre. Each and every time we have been extremely happy with the selection of products and the quality. The installation has been excellent as well. A true family business taking care of families and their projects! They truly are a one stop shop for your home renovation needs!

We have had a lot of renovations done on our home, the Flooring Centre had good ideas and a great selection. We made a schedule and they kept to it. It was done on time, with talented friendly installers. We were so happy with the work they did we had them put in our back splash in the new kitchen as well.

Very helpful no pressure sales staff! They have a great selection of Flooring to pick from in the store. They even came to my house to measure so that I had the correct amount of flooring.

I recently had my hardwood flooring done with The Flooring Centre, and I was quite unhappy. Although the workmanship was great, which is the only reason I bothered giving them two stars, numerous things left me unhappy. When I first spoke to Rick (the owner), he mentioned that I could save some cost by having the hardwood cut in the home. I did not see any issue with this considering when I had flooring installed previously in other homes or projects; the flooring team always cleaned up after themselves regardless of whether or not cutting was done outside the home or inside. Once they were done, we came home to find hardwood pieces, boxes and saw dust everywhere. Also, their workers had walked around the house with their muddy shoes on the brand new hardwood they had just finished installing. When I brought this up to Rick, he rudely mentioned that he told me that they would not clean the home after they were done, which he never did mention nor was it ever included in the contract. In the end, he sent his team to clean up after themselves, but they only picked up scrap pieces and disposed of the boxes. We had to hire a cleaning service to clean after them, which we had to pay out of pocket. Another part of the service they were providing was the installation of the quarter round. In the past when I have hired a trade to install hardwood and quarter round, the quarter round is then sealed and holes are covered, but according to Rick, they do not offer this service. Although we paid what someone typically pays to have the entire job completed, we only had half of it done. Overall, I found Rick and his team to be overpriced and unprofessional and would not recommend their service. I would say the only thing they having going for them is their workmanship when they bother to do the job properly from start to finish and their salesperson Carolyn who is very professional and courteous.
