In the past 8 years the customer service at this store has gone completely downhill. Today was the last straw - I will never shop at Lowe;s again. It is a shame as we are in the midst of a complete home renovation and I saw some very nice items in the store today. Hopefully they will be in a competing store. Today when I questioned the price of an item on my bill - the cashier said "Well do you want it or not?" with no offer to check the price. I returned to shelf myself as it was an item I really wanted. The shelf price was $3.00 lower. The cashier had to look the item up as it wouldn't scan on their system. The cashier only come back was ' Well I looked it up" but when the description does not match the item, you would think a price check might be appropriate. I guess shopping at Home Depot is in my future.- at least the staff is helpful!!!

I ordered a dishwasher from Lowes. It came in 2 days which was fine, but then the installers couldn't come for two weeks. So I waited the two weeks (hire your own installers so you don't have to wait so long) and they came, opened the dishwasher and realized a part was missing. So it was decided to have that one sent back and a new one sent. Then they said they weren't allowed to move the dishwasher for liability reasons so I have to have it sitting where it was opened until someone will come get it. which will be who knows how long. Now I've contacted Lowes and am waiting to see how long it will take to get a replacement (which they better not protest) and book another installation. It is just one big hassle.

Went for help in designing a small deck with a step. Deck went fine but I need to figure out how to get a step to get to the deck.

Mostly employees are pleasant and helpful. Older woman at customer service is rude and has major attitude. I was returning a carpet cleaner rental to the store and went to the counter marked "returns". She was rude and nasty and informing me I was at the wrong counter ... when I said it was labelled "returns". She advised me "she" wirg nasty attitude was telling me I was in wrong spot. She grabbed the rental book and slammed it on the counter. Major temper problem....will never rent a carpet cleaner there again. Will continue to shop other parts of store where nice employees work.

Never again. Bought a stove and it got damaged on the way into my house. It's been sitting there not used for about a month. Nobody has cared, nothing has really been offered for the trouble. Customer service is horrible. Lots of other places to spend my money. No need to shop there. Another customer goes to the competition.
