Mike at Bowmanville Floortrends was awesome! He provided expert advice, listened to our needs, executed the project on budget and on time. We had a few additions along the way and Mike accommodated all of our requests. He is extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We could not have realized our home renovation dreams without Mike and we would have had it no other way. From the King Family in the Port of Newcastle, a big heartfelt thanks to you Mike for everything you did to help turn our vision into a reality.

Floortrends is an excellent place to shop for your flooring needs in Bowmanville and the surrounding area. We went in looking for advice, selection and service and received all that and much more. The staff were informative, and infinitely generous with their expertise and time. Mike and Adam went out of their way to help us out and were so patient and accommodating as we changed our minds several times. We are extremely pleased with our new floors and will definitely be in again as we continue to update our home.

My wife and I had the recent pleasure of dealing with Mike at the Bowmanville location during our recent kitchen, main entrance and living room renovation. Mike and his team are extremely effective at communicating their plans, their timelines and most importantly why they need to do something a certain way. They educate you to ensure that you are in the best position to understand what needs to be done. This not only allows you to make an informed decision but also gives you a sense of trust in the people who are in your home. We had originally completed a tile floor in the kitchen, at Mike's recommendation, using porcelain tile. We love the finished product and were extremely impressed with the contractor who came to our home. Greg was polite, courteous and thorough in his explanations. His meticulous approach to his craft allowed us to achieve exactly what we were seeking in our kitchen and main entrance. Initially during our project we had intended to not do the living room space and instead tie the floors together with a transition piece. Mike worked through a number of solutions and options, none of which seemed to impress us too much - this next part is what makes Mike and his team special. Knowing that we were expecting our first child any week Mike proposed to do a hardwood floor install; it would give us the look we wanted and he promised us he could have it done in under 10 days, all at a fair price (not cheap - but far less than any other local retailer and in less than a 2 week turnaround). Having just been through numerous renovation challenges with other contractors, we were skeptical. Mike and his team had our living room floors done in 6 days (1.5 days of install - we had to wait a few to get the hardwood in that we had wanted). Of course, Mike was correct in his initial assessment that we would be much happier with the final product by going about it his way. Throughout the process he was patient, thoughtful and genuinely cared about us, our renovation and our budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike Grozelle for any of your flooring, tile or carpet needs. He is a true professional in every sense of the word and will exceed every expectation or previous experience you have ever had. We look forward to the next opportunity to work with Mike and his team at Floortrends, Thanks again Mike! Ben & Sarah Eastman

Our six year old defective kitchen ceramic tile floor, that was installed by the builders contractor, was removed by Floortrends professionals. The grout had cracked and fallen out in many places and Adam told us the tiles were all loose. During the tear out it was discovered that the scratch coat had been missed in the original installation. With Adam’s help we chose a luxury vinyl tile with grouting that looks like ceramic. It’s beautiful! It was a major Reno to remove all appliances and lower cabinets in an open concept home. James and Shane were top notch professionals and did everything possible to ensure high quality results. We highly recommend Floortrends for your flooring needs. Also note the hardwood and carpet flooring in our six year old Brooklin Home was professionally installed by Floortrends with no issues. Thank you, Larry & Kathy
