Very helpful visit. Will be back for sure! A quick visit to start sourcing lumber for next summer's project. Very knowledgeable staff who took the time to do a rough sketch of the shed I'm going to build.

Great selection and very knowledgeable staff. Adam was a true professional and a pleasure to deal with. We really appreciate you going above and beyond to help us out Adam! Highly recommend. Joe

Great place, great staff. Had what could have been an issue with a delivery of lumber that wasn't to our (or Monaghan's) satisfaction, coupled with an unfortunate telephone convo with someone not involved trying to solve the situation... But took the lumber back the next morning and spent time with the crew handpicking the boards to make sure the order was right. They handled their issue like total pros, made sure we had what we needed - and that says more about them as a company than words. Have dealt with both Adam and Jacob here, each of them have been helpful and knowledgable - plus the selection and quality of the products Monaghan represents is fantastic. Haven't bought lumber from the orange or blue big box store since - and don't see myself going anywhere else with this hometown service!

just left.. 2 guys on computers, 1 guy actually was helping a guy at the counter, 2 other boss looking guys walked out, made eye contact with me as I stood there but they acted like I had ebola and didn't wish to come near me.. I then actually walked almost behind the counter, then they acted like they had to look for something, they didn't even say you cant come behind the counter ..I know people say Homedepot has hit or miss service but my parents even told me they had poor service before I went, but I wasn't expecting this bad ..they sell wood ffs lol and they act like they you actually need them ..Homedepot and other places actually have competitive quality or better, maybe at one point they were a good place, I don't know but I wont be going back ever, wish I didn't even have to give this place one star
