I loved the feel of the store, and was able to make new friend, as I invested in the vision of minimalism. My back loves the Shikibuton, and I feel more down to earth, in more ways than one 😉🤣😁 Thank you for being here 🌱🥂🎶✨♥️

Original tatami mats imported from Japan. Other products include futons and furnishings all imported from that country as well.

Authentic Japanese products (futons, tatami mats, shoji screen doors etc) that cannot be found here in Canada. So happy this place exists here....

I ordered a shikibuton from Tatami Imports about 6 years ago, and have absolutely loved it. If you make sure to take proper care of it, you'll get decades of use out of it. It has done wonders for my sleep quality, and my back loves sleeping on it. You definitely feel gravity on your body and the entire bed is made out of cotton with beautiful designs on it. The highest quality shikibuton I could find on the market, imported straight from Japan, it's been one of the best things I've ever bought.

Great authentic Japanese products, and great customer service. I have been very satisfied with my futon bed and bamboo table and chairs. The bed is so comfortable and it has greatly improved my quality of sleep. Stanley, the owner/salesman, is very friendly and he will make sure that you are comfortable with everything before buying.
