The smaller size of this home Depot means that you won't find the same variety of in stock items. However, you can do online ordering with free pickup here, often overnight. Pricing is standard for Home Depot, competitive but keep an eye out for sales. The quality of professional advice can really range from poor to excellent depending on staff on duty. I have had days where I couldn't find any help and others where there were several offers of assistance. This particular visit was very busy but checkout was efficient and everything I needed was in stock.

This place has a history of poor customer service for me in the past but today takes the cake. While at the paint counter ordering a couple of gallons of stain, I politely inquired about their advertised sale and the clerk replied in a similar fashion that it had already ended. Should have ended there but no. One of her gray haired, “orange” colleagues standing off to the side has to throw in the arrogance-laced comment “it was on for 2 weeks”. What the hell is that supposed to mean? In hindsight I should have cancelled my order right then and there and headed to Rona, but of course I didn’t think of that, only saw red. The only reason I was there in the first place was to match product that I had previously used. More and more do I find less and less reason to use this store.

Home Depot in Midland Ontario. Fantastic customer service. Matt and the staff are stellar examples of small town top notch service.
