Ended up buying a lot of Espresso 5 1/4 inch grade AAA Canadian Red Oak in 2010. The experience was wonderful, the price was great, and the installation instructions were very clear. I ended up underlaying it with cork followed by wax paper and the hardwood itself. After years of service that was no buckling, no crackling when walking, and continue to look band new. Will buy from here again!!!!

DO NOT BUY ANY FLOORING MATERIALS FROM THIS COMPANY! Mark will not stand behind his products. I visited his showroom and asked to be shown a hard-wearing oak floor. I was assured that the product I selected had a 35 year warranty and that it was a very durable product. I asked for a written warranty but none was given to me.I accept responsibility for not insisting that this be given to me before I handed over any of my money. I paid and the flooring was installed at my house. Within a few weeks it started showing marks and scratches. After repeated phone calls Mark came out to my house and told me that I was too hard on the floor and that I had only purchased a mid-range floor product. At this time he gave me a written warranty. In effect, it said if you have children, wear shoes, ever drop anything, have pets, spill water, etc. this products is not guaranteed in any way. Mark was arrogant and condescending I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS man or his company again and I advise everyone looking for a flooring product to steer clear of The Hardwood Flooring Centre 2012 Inc. on 7 Oak Street in Toronto.
