Thanks to all the reviewers.....I had them install a kitchen floor in 2010 and its perfect. I think they changed hands since then. I was thinking of adding more hardwood to other areas of my home. Guess I will pass.

I should have looked at the fact that Buffalo only has 2.3 stars. It’s now clear why. I’ve never dealt with a company who has continuously lied and lacked all sense of customer service like this. The pricing wa star first thing. All floors on one wall are the same price, website says hickory is 10% off this month, but no “we are alr day giving you the best price.” That makes sense. Ok, so we ordered flooring 11 weeks ago, they said it would take 3 weeks to come in. NO ONE called, EVER. My husband called every single week for an update and even asked if they could call him. Nope. You want to talk to the owner? Sure, call him and leave a voicemail. Twice. And then guess what? He never calls you! After all of this, we get a text message that our flooring will be in next week. WOW, great customer service!!!

My husband and I chose to install the wood ourselves, and Buffalo Hardwood could not be more helpful. They found the exact wood we wanted, delivered it promptly, and then provided a class to teach us how to do the installation. When we had a question, they sent a expert to our house to give us helpful advice. We have just started laying the wood and are thrilled. I cannot imagine what more they could do to make this project go smoothly.

i am giving them one star because it does not allow me tog I've zero stars 9which they deserve). I was renovating a condo and found a great product at Buffalo Hardwood. I had them remove old flooring and install 1400 square feet of hardwood. it was not a cheap job at $19k. i was told a date, then no communication. I called frequently and kept getting told a different date. i had to incur storage fees because they were months later on the installation by 3 months. i had to fight with them to get them to pay my storage fees. not only that, the salesman was constantly lying. When the wood was finally delivered, they brought it in my house and began installing without even waiting for the wood to acclimate to the environment. i asked about this and pretty much was told i didn't know what i was talking about. On the 5th day of the demo/install i showed up to the condo and saw about 30 extra cases of wood, i went to get coffee, came back and the the installers were removing cases of hardwood i paid for and loading it into the van. and let me say, they were sneaking it out of the condo. i told them to stop and i heard the installer speaking to steve the salesman saying "she wants to know why we are taking the wood and i don't know what to tell her'. steve then tells me "oh that was not supposed to be delivered to you we ordered that for extra and that is ours". he totally lied and the installers all but told me so, basically, i paid for a lot of extra wood not needed and they were taking it roughly 25 cases back with them and left me with 5 extras because i would not let them remove anymore. and no they did not credit me for the extra insisting it was theirs. now lets get to the quality of the installation......horrible, there was glue everywhere. very sloppy job ad 2 years later I'm still trying to get all the glue removed. also, the installer did damage to some of the boards and installed them with chips. the owner only called me when i refused to pay the balance until they cleaned up their huge mess. i can't believe they are in business. they are dishonest, horrible communicators and once they have your money will not talk with you. very shady on the ordering too, he refused to give me a detailed invoice as well. i would never do business with these folks again. i can't believe they are still in business.

I had a terrible experience, once they had my money they didn't care when I got my wood nor did they return calls. I recently posted my review with exactly the poor service I received. The owner sent me a letter stating he was returning my money I decided to remove my review in good faith. As you probably guessed that's the last I heard from him. To sum it up I was treated poorly and clearly lied to. I will keep you all posted as to when and IF my money is returned and if this owner is a man of his word!!! Or a Liar!!!
