I just bought a new house that had hardwood floors thru out. they had been covered in either carpet or linoleum that came right out of the 70's and 80's. After taking everything up I was a little worried because the linoleum had left behind a very sticky residue ( I lost a sneaker walking across the floor once). John came out took a look and said that sticky residue wouldn't be a problem. He was very honest about what he could and couldn't promise me in fixing some dark spots from water and heavy walking over many years with no care. He was also very knowledgeable in general, he could tell me where there had been carpet in the dinning area, at one point because of marking on the hardwood ( which I did not know because there was linoleum there when I bought the house) and what rooms had been refinished at some other point in the past. I was good with everything he told me .We set a date to have them done. I had to push the date back a few more weeks because of other work being done on the house, but John worked with me and was very helpful and understanding. The crew that that came to work on the floors was great and answered all my questions, and didn't leave behind any mess not even a little dust its amazing!!! The floors look great!!! I really can't believe how amazing they look!!! All the dark spots ( even the ones John couldn't promise me would come up ) are gone and you would never believe that there had been anything wrong with them. Everyone that sees them that saw them before is amazed too. I would hire them again in a heart beat if I ever needed floors redone again, and would recommend them to anyone that needs their floors redone. They do great work.

John and his crew installed a new hardwood floor in one room and refinished another. Thanks to Joe, Abby, Dan, Mark and John. They also put a floor in my dinning room that is quite intricate with chevron design and inlaid wood. Ask him to show it to you - you will want yours like mine. They are experts and professionals. Will call them again for wood floor help. Or if I just want to hear John play our piano!

I just bought a house and the hardwood floors were a mess. After Jazz Hardwood Floors was finished with them, they look amazing! The job took longer than they thought so they even came out on a Saturday morning to finish it up. They are a little more expensive than some other estimates that I got but they were able to work with my schedule. There were just two things that I was disappointed with. I don't have shoe moldings in a few of my the rooms and even though I plan on adding them eventually, they're not a top priority right now. Where I don't have the shoe moldings, there is stain all over the base boards. John gave me a few ideas on how to fix it but now that's more work for me to do. There's also stain all over the walls. I spent almost $1000 the week before to get them painted so it was frustrating to have to go through every room and touch up spots of stain on the walls. There were also a few small spots where I had to patch the wall because a piece was gouged out. But the floors do look great and I'm very happy with the finished product.

We have a hardwood floor that had some water damage, scratches and discoloration. Our general contractor tried to do a light refinish that did not correct the conditions. They then recommended Jazz Hardwood Floors to refinish the floor properly. Jazz did a great job. The floors look better than new and they did this with hardly any dust. I can recommend them to anyone.

These people are miracle workers. They refinished our dirty, pet-stained, neglected-under-carpet wood floors from 1925 that another company wouldn't consider and they did an incredible job well beyond my expectations of what was possible. There was zero dust in the house, and everyone was kind and professional. People ask if the floors are brand new! We would recommend Jazz 100%.
