The guys at Batten carpets & Woodworx Flooring were great - very honest and knowledgable about the different styles of floor we could go for. The fitter was quick, friendly and tidy and the finished product looks fantastic in our new flat. Would highly recommend.

These guys did a good job of helping us select flooring, measuring up and laying the floor. Everyone was friendly. Unfortunately it ended badly when they dumped all the offcuts of their work in our garden, which we only realised after they had left. That was very disappointing given the previous professional approach. Hence 4 star, could have been 5 with a little more courtesy.

Brodie and the team were extremely helpful with their advice on choosing a new wood floor and advised on the most suitable underlay and accessories taking into account the layout of the flat. They organised the fitting at a time to suit us and the fitting was carried out efficiently and to a high standard with minimal disruption. Great Job!

Good experience, will recommend Batten Carpets. Staff helpful in showroom. I bought engineered wood that was delivered within a week as promised since being shipped from Ireland. Second order had to pay £30 delivery charge due to order being less than £x - would have got the full 5 stars if it was free delivery on orders over £100, alas.

Initial service was good but after accepting the order (and taking a deposit) they called to say that the price was too low and now it was being rejected! We managed to get the carpets cheaper elsewhere but we weren't happy with the way it was managed by batten carpets.
