HP Flooring was absolutely wonderful. I picked my flooring with a great price, installation was great, and clean up was wonderful. Thank you Heidi! It looks beautiful! I've had so many compliments.

Used them again in our kitchen. Awesome and flawless job. Looking forward to them doing our rental property living room floor next month. We're 2 for 2. Lets make it 3 for 3.

The short version: Products & pricing are excellent. Installation & attention to detail is awful. The Long versions: As part of a major basement renovation were were looking at installing flooring. We went to many suppliers but found their products to have an excellent price and good quality. We found flooring that was truly unique and we still get rave complements from guests. Tina was very helpful re product info & providing an excellent price. They were also great in excepting returns of unused unopened boxes. Now we had our OWN contractors install the floor but figured because we loved their product and pricing we'd get their contractors to refinish and upgrade the stairs in the entire house from carpet to hardwood and our "pickets" from wood to wrought iron -MISTAKE. To be fair - the product itself was great - just like the flooring but the work details were worse than terrible. Let me list the issues. 1. When they did their sanding they did NOTHING to prevent dust from going all over the place: expensive tables, kitchen, living room, televisions dishes -1 and second floors caked with dust. As a comparison the contractors we used to do our entire basement (demo & rebuild) used methods to control dust and swept up their entire basement at the end of each day to keep it to a minimum. We complained to the owner and for the 2nd phase of the work the crew brought a specialty vacuum that sucked up the dust to keep it to a minimum. My question is if they had it in the first place why didn't they use it! 2. The work crews had no respect for the property. In addition to dust, they tossed all of their scrap wood and stair carpet onto our porch and walkway. They left tons of wood cuttings on our garden! The workers took OUR drop clothes to use for their work! Again complaints to the boss. They wanted to leave that garbage their till next week! We demanded removal that day. The boss came with his truck loaded up most of it but we still had to clean our walkway and garden ourselves. In comparison, the people doing the basement cleaned their garbage EVERY DAY. They bagged it, placed it neatly at the side of the house for one of their team to pick up within a day or so. When you think it cant get worse is does. HP flooring cut the wrought iron inside the house! I started to smell a strange odour to find, to my horror, sparks flying all over the front foyer. They were landing on my daughters jackets and sweaters hanging on a child's wall coat hanger! 3. Complete lack of attention to detail. Oh yes HP flooring can put in a big slab of wood, but when they stain it they get it everywhere: walls, ceiling, floors, baseboard EVEN ON NEWLY FINISHED BASEMENT WALLS! When I pointed this out the boss he said "it is easy to clean" to which I said if it was so easy to clean why didn't they do it in the FIRST PLACE! On top of that they left a gaping hole at the top of the stairs, plus sections of wood overhanging, also they damaged drywall that was un-related to the stairs, and they got glue in areas of the house we still cant figure out why they were there. 4. Just plain ignorance. We asked for a semi-gloss finish on the staircase. They did the upstairs well. The bottom they did a SATIN finish. When I pointed that out the workman showed me the empty can of the WRONG finish and told the work was done because he used up all the stain! I refused to pay until it was fixed. The owner admitted that he bought satin instead of a semi-gloss finish. This is ignorance on two levels: First the workman should have noticed the difference and asked me or call their boss to confirm what they were doing. Secondly, the boss didn't even to bother to check what he was sending his workers. In the end- we kicked them out. AVOID AT ALL COSTS having them do the installation. Instead just buy their quality product. 5 stars for great product 0 for workmanship =2 stars (rounding down).

Great flooring at reasonable prices. Installers are quite talented.
