Great store with very helpful, accessible, knowledgeable, nice staff. If I need something, it is the first place I go and if they do not have it, they will direct you where to find it. Better than going to a big box store where it is often difficult to get help or advice and locate what you need. Local 4th generation family business, owned and operated since 1889.

Strengths Wide and specialized product offerings—tools, metals, hardware. Helpful, knowledgeable staff known for obsessive customer service. Unique services like sharpening, custom cabinetmaking, and repairs. Competitive prices, especially for metal stock and specialty items.

5 stars for service and selection. Don’t be weary of how small this location looks from the outside, they have everything. I want to say a special thanks to the nice girl at the door who always greets with a friendly Bonjour, as well as the knowledgeable staff. I learned how to use ratchets and how many for a big mattress I needed to move thanks to their help. As I’m still learning my French, they kindly always help me in English as much as they can. Thanks RONA Notre-Dame!
