So many good selections for anything home related. We've gotten several good appliances here, as well as really great quality wall paint. For real though, can you even beat the smell of a home improvement store?

Went to Lowe's to buy a single piece of lumber ... Not once did anyone ask if they could help me or offer any assistance at all... I left and came to Home Depot and on my way through the store I had 3 employees ask if they could help me... Always have smiles . Didn't have to wait in line... HOME DEPOT HAS MY VOTE AND OUR BUSINESS FROM NOW ON

I am so over major retailers not staffing stores. This store is never staffed. It has ran off great employees in the ten years I have shopped here because they get beat down and give up. You have a few great employees remaining but you have to wait in line to talk to a knowledgeable person, btw they put one knowledgeable person per three departments. They seem overworked and tired because they have lines waiting to speak with them. Here is a list of helpful employees if you have to go to this god forsaken hell hole. If you need a manager talk with Rick. I don’t know what Rick does but every manager calls him for help. He is nice and apparently has all the answers. In paint talk to a heavy bald white guy. I think his name is Dan. In Appliances talk to Dave. He has been helping me for years. Comes across as a jack@ss but knows his stuff. In cabinets talk with Joseph, if you can get him. He knows his stuff but you have to wait. Like the manager Rick he apparently has all the answers. In flooring talk to Jeremy. He is the best employee in the building. He doesn’t have off days and is always happy. In doors and windows talk with Shawn. He really knows his stuff. I see him all over the store and is always ready to help. The contractor desk has gotten better the last 2 years but I prefer to work with Larry or A new guy named Steve. Stay clear of these few departments or managers. Why would you have a manager that doesn’t speak English? I don’t have a problem with speaking other languages but you are in Alabama and don’t speak English or Spanish. in Blinds...... you have an old bitter woman and a teenager. One knows nothing and the other thinks she knows everything. You pick which is which. In electrical..... go to another store if you need electrical! This guy Doc will weird you out. He is not going to speak while staring a hole in you. If he does speak.... what is personal space? In plumbing, lumber, hardware, lawn mowers, etc...... Hello... is anybody over here?

Had keys cut by a wheelchair bound young man who simply amazed me with all his life achievements thus far. Great conversation that made me feel welcomed. And more importantly my keys worked.
