My Review isn't about Rock Bottom, but it is about a Company that goes by the Name Every Floor Counts or the guy who's name is Todd Pugh who Supposedly runs it. who is or was an installer for RBC . This bunch does sub par work and are very unprofessional after the fact and they've got their money. Don't expect any answered or returned calls if you have any issues with their crappy work. Carpet cut short, tile grout repair wasn't correct color and wasn't even done right or complete. If you want a Professional Job and take pride in you home and how it looks, Stay clear of this bunch or you'll have a once beautiful home turned into Ugly real quick. Deserves less than 1 Star.

Rock Bottom saved the day when Home Depot couldn't deliver on the job for which I paid. I was moving cross country, and fixing up my house to sell. I had a tight schedule for carpet, painting and other contractors. When my initial carpet install fell apart, my entire schedule was at risk. I visited Rock Bottom at 8:00 on a Saturday morning, and I had carpet installed by Noon on Tuesday. The best part, I received better carpet, better pad, and top notch installation for LESS MONEY than what I was going to get from the contractor that blew it. I wish I had saved time and frustration by making Rock Bottom my first stop instead of my last.

My complaint is about their cancellation policy. I was first told by both my Insurance adjuster and contractors that my carpet(only 2 months old) that recently got wet due to our refrigerator leaking, was fine to put back without having to replace it as the backing had not de-laminated and was sturdy. Since it was new carpet from rock bottom, I asked them to come take a look. they said if it even got a little wet, you HAVE to replace it, that carpet is gonna fail!! Well I aired on the side of caution, got the estimate. Rock bottom then said they couldn't guarantee the lot and dye of this style, that we should go ahead and put a deposit on it and set an install date, we did, but after further consulting with other carpet folks, we decided to cancel the order and wanted our money back. Rock bottom refused to call us back, for a week, and after many messages, I talked to Jeremiah a couple times and finally told him to cancel the install. Monday morning rolls around, I get the call from the installer, "Hey, I got your carpet on the truck, am headed your way, be there in 20 minutes!!' I said no, I canceled that order, He then hung up on me! After reading the previous complaints, I should have looked here first before going to these guys. All I want is my $297.00 back. They can keep and re-sell the carpet. But no, they REFUSE to do that, they said either pay another $197.00 and pick up the carpet, or take the $297.00 loss. what is with these flooring companies around here? Had they been honest and up front with me about the cancellation policy, we would have been good. But no, they had to ignore my calls and requests for cancellation until it was too late. I call that dishonest business practices.

It has been an awful experience not only between the time it took their installers to get to my home 7 o clock at night is not acceptable but they didn't clean sub floors or replace any of broken tack strips. The carpet was cut too short or too long so I had to trim as needed. This has been worse experience thus far.

We had a good experience with RBC about 6 years ago, but not as smooth this time. They have not valued or respected our time or schedule. Can't manage to get materials here for the installation date and installers don't show up even when they are supposedly "loading up materials and headed straight there". If your experience is like mine, better plan for a lot of time off work sitting around waiting on these guys to show up. On the plus side, once the materials finally arrived and the installers finally got here, they paid attention to detail and the flooring looks good.
