I love the variety and prices that Ollies has to offer, but some shoppers there act like it is a corner tag sale or thrift shop. I have seen it more than once, people leaving things all over the aisles, opening and dumping packages, creating disorder when rifling through shelves, even dragging their children across the floor and yelling at one another across the whole store! Be aware that you will get some great deals, but I wouldn't call it a serene shopping experience.

They get liquidation merchandise so if they run out of something it won't be replenished. But seem to carry stuff while its still the season, unlike other stores, push spring or summer merchandise while its still winter. Pretty good deals on items. It's similar to a flea market but managed like a box store. The people working here are friendly and seem to know their store. I've only shopped a few times @ Ollies but each time was a good experience.

Good selection of items. Some a good deal, others are cheaper elsewhere.

If your a business owner and you attempt to use your tax ID number to get your purchase exempt from taxes then prepare to be disappointed. We set up our business account on our first trip and although the lady didn't know how to do it she figured it out and got it to work. 4 individual visits on separate occasions later and even though we are in the system they still can never figure out how to make it tax exempt. Their respons is "I don't know how to'. That's bad for business.
