I ordered a washing machine online, but the order did not process correctly. So I had my son call and they were able to process it over the telephone. They charged me for a delivery fee but delivery should have been free. The rep on the line just told me to go by Lowe’s and the delivery fee will be waiting in the safe. I went to customer service and they were not helpful at all and customer service was poor. They did not even try to help me. I stood there for 15 minutes trying to get the rep back on the line to get more specific instructions. I got agitated and asked for a manager or supvervisor. So a guy walked up, I told him the issue, and he got my money for me. My thing is the 2 people at customer service did not even try to help me, and if you don’t want to help a customer you definitely shouldn’t be working in customer service.

I asked 5 employees for help to find an item and only 2 would even attempt to help me. The others just told me to go to the tool world section. The cashier was very friendly. 2 employees also told me they didn't carry parts only the tool its self. I ended up finding the part with the help of a female employee. I wish I would of got her name. She was a super sweet, brunette maybe in her 30s. They do have good deals on many items. Tip to all nontool people: take a friend who knows what to look for or you'll be there all day....

Lowes will not warranty their tools anymore. I am stuck with multiple expensive tools with a supposed "lifetime warranty" that they will not do anything about their crappy broken ratchet. Save yourself the hassle, do not buy tools from Lowes anymore. They once warranted all their tools, but no more.

Cashier lacking in customer service skills. I was there the afternoon of Feb 18, 2018 and was in the outdoor gardening section. The cashier was sitting in her little tent texting on her phone and showed no interest in doing anything. We stood there watching her to see how long she would keep playing on her phone. Only when I cleared my throat did she look up and do her job. Do these employees even get more than basic training? When this store closes, it will be because their customer service made it happen.

I love shopping at Lowe's because they have a variety of merchandise you need for your home and lawn care. If you need help in finding a contractor there is always someone there who can recommend someone or tell you what time to arrive at the store if you want to speak with a contractor. The employees are very helpful when you can find one 😊 or after helping another customer.
