Went in, purchased 4 large bags of salt. Used my debit card, the salt normally comes in tiny small pebbles. This was large pebbles. I drove over 30 miles to purchase this. Got large pebble instead of small.. And they told me I could return it. I had my receipt, and they refused to accept the return, after saying they would, and after I ran back and forth to the parking lot to get my drivers license. Because it hadn't been 24 hrs because I used my debit card. Won't be back and if I could give this store a 0 star I would. Beware!

Bought a GE washer with manufacture defected issue. Called HD with in 12 hours of purchase and was told I can't replace/refund that I would have to call GE for service. It's been 3 months now, the technician came 6 times in total, the problem is still there. AND GE told me if I called within 48 hours from purchase I could have get this unit replace/refund. Who should take the responsibility???!!!!!! apparently neither of them is willing to. Spent $800 for some pieces of steel.

Within the past year, they have got a lot of business from me and my husband. We remodeled our home, and bought most of our material here. The lumber, sheetrock, etc was all great, HOWEVER, when it came down to our shower, stove, fridge, etc. HORRIBLE. It took them 4 time ordering our shower to get it in without it being cracked. Our stove came in a month later than expected, and they "lost" our fridge. They had to order it 3 times. It was 2-3 months later before we got our fridge. Since then, they have messed my payment up on the home depot card, telling me I didn't owe anything and then charging me over $200 because i "missed a payment." Maybe their employees should know how to read the computer before they tell me i don't owe anything. That was partially my fault, and i take partial blame. HOWEVER, I recently ordered THREE containers they didn't have in store. THREE small, plastic, IRIS containers. I ordered one on April 16th. It was supposed to be here today, but the tracking hasn't been updated. The other two were scheduled to be here tomorrow, now they have bumped the expected pick up date to May the 2nd. I am getting tired of the games they play with their customers. I'm getting tired of wasting my money on something that takes 2 months to get, and even then they may break it while unloading it. I made three payments on the shower, stove, and fridge without even having them. It is getting ridiculous.

Not really impressed with the Scottsboro Home Depot anymore. After seeing the Lowe's in Hampton Cove it was like a kid in a candy shop. Lowe's offers so many things that are in stock and on the shelves. I ended up at Lowe's in hopes of finding a 20x30 air return grille to replace ours located in the wall but they didn't have that one either. Ordered it from our local Home Depot and seems it will take about 2 weeks to get to the Scottsboro Home Depot store. Maybe I should have ordered it from the vendor, then I started thinking I should just start using the Lowe's in Hampton Cove and ordering what I can't find online or through Amazon
