Had laminate flooring installed sept 2016 in living room down stairway and within 6 months edge pieces on stairway starting separating from flat laminate surface of stairs so i used wood glue to fix it and it stayed about 6 months but after a year noticed it came loose as well as other places on lower steps so i called Empire and i told them problematic been going on for about a 7months and since it was past their 1 year warranty they wouldn't fix it. Ok you may say well it was past the warranty but after spending 5,000 to begin with you would think they would at least offer some compensation especially when i said it was a problem that basically started within few months of install. The reason I didn't contact them immediately because it was one section that was no biggie but then after few more steps did same thing I realized its not just from foot traffic but a defect. Use another company come to find out i could have saved thousands.

First I want to thank my sales rep Bill Samagalsky and his manager for not pressuring me to buy any flooring from this company. I had my living room, family room and hallway done for a great price. The 2 guys that did the work for me treated my house just like it was there own, they did an amazing job as of right now i am a happy customer, if and when i decide to do more flooring in my house i'm requesting the same two guys i can't remember their names but i'm sure it's on my order form. PS. if i could give them 10 stars i would. I''m a Covington georgia customer.

We had Empire install carpet and tile in our house. After 3 years we had to remove the carpet because it fell apart and pulled up so badly we could not vacuum it. the tile was cracking apart within 30 days of installation. The contract said they warranty all products and installation but they would not fix any of it. The company that did the tile said they wouldn't warranty it because it is a module home and the carpet installation company just said there was nothing they could do about it. Horrible company to deal with and poor products and installation. Don't waste your time or money with them!

I'm already disappointed with the service before I get anything installed. I was told a morning appointment and here it is 6:15 at night and no one has shown up yet They called and the first words out of their mouth was do I want to reschedule. If you couldn't do the job today you shouldn't have scheduled me. Poor customer service

Never in my life have I experienced such horrible customer service. Initially, the sales personnel was pleasant and we also had a positive experience with the laminate installers. However, we had several issues with the carpet installers as well as customer service and installation teams, which eventually led to us cancelling our order for carpet installation after over a month of back and forth. Our first appointment was cancelled by the company. Then, when the carpet installation was re-scheduled the installer said he would arrive in the morning, but didn't call or arrive until the late afternoon. He then complained that he didn't have the tools to take up the flooring and left with no warning. We called customer service and had to reschedule for almost a week later. During this time we were scheduled to move and were unable to settle into our new home. When the second installation day came, to avoid a repeat of the previous situation, we called about 14 times throughout the day to ensure the installers had the correct tools, but the exact same thing happened!!! They showed up in the late afternoon after we were told they would be here by 10:30 in the morning and they left because they didn't have the correct tools. The installers weren't able to get in touch with a manager directly and when we called customer service we were on hold for about 20 minutes and no one could resolve the issue. Management finally called 30 minutes later, but by then we decided we had had enough and went with another company.
