Make no mistake, I will shop at a Lowe's as often as possible in lieu of going to their competitor. Unlike their competitor, getting a military discount seems to depend on the day, the holiday, the type of ID you carry and in many cases, the benevolence of the cashier at the time. At Lowe's. I always get my military discount simply because I registered for the "My Lowes" card. Just bought a new washer & dryer set, hoses, clamps, wiring, delivery, installation and removal of the old washer & dryer and got my 10% discount on the entire package.

Nice home improvement place. The worst part is all the stuff in the walkways. Workers are nice and helpful. Sometimes it is difficult to find someone to help.

We always come here for paint, nails/wood etc. Anything we need that we don't have for our many house projects. We alway find what we need and the older workers are always nice. The young ones definitely need training (no cell phones when working especially when customers need you!).

We but a lot of things there. The variety, customer service and just plain LOVING it is why I go! Prices are reasonable, too.

Went in for window blinds. Literally stood in isle 6 for a good 15 minutes....no assistance. Walked to the end of isle where the remnant blinds were and dug around there for another 10 minutes. So many sales associates walked by and not one offered any help....especially the one guy who obviously was stationed in that department. He just stood there. Why have so much staff on duty if they are going tolet peopleleave without what they came for. Told a mgr at checkout...she apologized but still never offered to help w the blinds. Maybe Home Depot will be better. #irritatedonsunday
