My go to place! Helps it is less than 2 miles from my house. Usually has most things I need. Like that I can order on-line and delivered or pick up from the store. Makes returns really easy!

We all know the big heavyweight contenders here -- it's Home Depot in one corner and Lowe's in the other. Who will win the big-box home improvement battle? In the Home Depot corner, we have a trainer shaping up the fighter to have low prices, stores in convenient locations, and all the products that the audience needs to shore up and improve their abodes. But in the Lowe's corner, we have similar low pricing, almost as common locations, and a similar offering of home improvement products and tools, but there is something more here--service. I have never been able to find help in Home Depot without three or four people waiting to accost the hapless teenager in the aisle who is trying his/her inexperienced best to give help or point to the right location, but at Lowe's it's Mic in Rocky's corner, telling him to get in there and help the customers with expert advice. I know enough of the boxing metaphors, but you get the point. The winner, by decision, is .... Lowes! We also enjoy the fresh plants in their nursery, and watch out for the specials there as well--some plants can be had for as low as $1, and if it doesn't work out, Lowe's has a great return policy. The clincher--we are allowed (even encouraged) to bring our little four legged friend along for the visit. One other subjective but important factor--checkout always seems quicker here. All around, a great contender wins the day.

Found everything I needed. Help was available, which I appreciated. Prices were reasonable. What more can you ask?
