They showed up on time and the carpet installation went very smoothly. They did an awesome job.

We contracted with Home Depot for our new flooring. On Monday they came to install. Ripped up all carpet, decided the subfloor was not level, packed up and left. So it's Thursday and all furniture and all clothing is in the garage. The installers could not wait to get out of here. Packed up and down driveway within 10 minutes. Home Depot was very kind and refunded everything. Found a Payson Company that was more than happy to do the work but still have to wait til next Wednesday. You gave us an option. -. Carpeting. This is the reason we were doing this. To get rid of carpeting. What a bad name you give the companies you are working for. Shame on you. Will always remember your company name with disgust.

I bought carpet through Home Depot in Tucson and this company is the one they use to install. We had just installed brand new satillio tile. I told the guy I did not want the satillio tile chipped where it met the carpet. The guy actually laughed, then stated he'll try his best. When I confronted him on his attitude, and stated it sounded like he didn't really care whether he chipped the tile or not, he stated he will be careful. Of course he chipped the tile. He also left marks on the wall when they hammered the tack strip to the floor. A professional would have protected my tile and my wall. This company has nothing to lose when they install Home Depot carpet, because you have to pay them upfront, and there is absolutely no recourse for when they act unprofessional. I gave one star only because I couldn't give no stars. Buyer beware.

Western States Flooring performed the carpet install in my new home as the installation contractor for carpeting I bought through Home Depot. They cut the carpet to the dimensions needed for my two rooms on the bare street in front of my home and as a result, the carpet had grime stains on it after installation which they only attempted to remove after I brought it to their attention. They didn't have any cleaning supplies with them so they simply used water to try and blot it out, which of course, didn't work. After going into Home Depot to let them know that an unsatisfactory job was done, I received a call more than a week later from someone at Western States Flooring as a follow-up to my complaint about the stains they left. Unbelievably, the representative simply suggested that I go buy a product on my own to remove the stain rather than offering to come and take care of the mess they created themselves. I was able to remove the stains, but not completely. Recently I also discovered they didn't properly secure on edge of the carpet or padding with a tack strip in an area that is somewhat concealed under the overhang of a built-in. This was revealed as I was vacuuming the carpet and it literally was pulled-up by the suction from the vacuum. Based on the way they handled the stains they left, I will not be calling them to address this issue because it is more trouble than it's worth to deal with a company that obviously doesn't have attention to detail nor the desire to rectify their mistakes in a professional manner. My advice to anyone reading this review is to NOT use HOME DEPOT for your carpeting needs, nor WESTERN STATES FLOORING. BUYER BEWARE!

I see all these carpet reviews and they are all over the place. I have used their air conditioning division and have had a great experience. I have never been oversold, even when I directed the conversation that way. Our ACs were almost 18 years old and they have services then for the past 11 or 12 years. I've had other companies once or twice in between and they were fine, but Steve Foster, from WS, has always been great. He has installed while systems for friends and this year we knew we needed it. He recommended we get a new motor a couple of years ago and he matched a price from another friend who sells them and installed it the next day. I looked at 3 different companies and researched online for a couple of months. I had decided I would get a higher SEER rating and probably not the brand we eventually went with, Rheem. I looked closely at the reviews and when they were posted and how different companies fared in the desert heat over the years. I saw some bad ratings on the Rheem brand, but most were a couple of years past. Bottom line, I am trusting my friend, who has serviced our units for years and bought the 2 Rheem systems. They have been quiet and my 1st comparable bill was over $150 less and it was a hotter month. Yes, they are new units vs 18 year olds ones, but it is still $150+. Ten year warranty which I don't think will be needed as most AC systems last longer. I had referred them without having new ACs and my friends have not complained at all and were thankful for Steve and Western States. Now I can refer based on new units being bought and installed. Highly recommend WS and ask for Steve Foster. Tell him I referred you. I don't get any money it anything, I just like people having good experiences buying large items.
