Once we ordered carpet, the customer service at Prescott Abbey Flooring was the worst we've ever experienced. We understand that mistakes happen, but they should be handled in a courteous and considerate manner, not met with sarcasm and a hostile attitude. After their installers had ripped out our old carpet and padding and installed the new padding, they informed us there wasn't enough carpet. Peg and Adam hadn't ordered enough and no one checked the amount before sending the installers. We had no use of our living room and dining room and had tackless strips on the perimeter until they found more carpet of the same dye lot. Instead of an apology, Peg's response was, "People make mistakes. Move on." When the installation was finally completed, we could see that the carpet was inferior to the samples we selected it from. It looked drab and matted. Peg refused to even consider that the carpet was wrong and insisted by email that we "got what we ordered." We filed a complaint with Mohawk. They determined through lab tests that the installed carpet was definitely different from the samples. They replaced it under their satisfaction guarantee. Unfortunately, this extremely frustrating experience lasted months until resolved.

I walked into their showroom, the saleswomen let me borrow their sample of the tile I thought would work. The next day I called and left a voice message letting her know I would like to place the order with them and to please call me back; They never did. I walked into their store about 5 days after I was there. The women that was helping me was busy with another customer so another employee helped me. I gave her the sample the square footage I need to cover and picked the grout. She said she was new and was not sure how to complete the paperwork, but that the woman that I had worked with was busy and would call me to take the order. It has been almost two weeks since and I have not heard from them.

I bought a house where they had installed a floor 4 months earlier and now it has bubbled up everywhere and has to be replaced because the used the wrong subfloor material. They will do nothing to help with the situation. No callbacks, nothing. Can't believe anyone would want to do business with such a company.

Great selection of flooring, somewhat helpful staff but, Extremely POOR scheduling, went through them for 5 bedrooms (4 times to our home). They gave me a time, date, take your money before, and then called to say it needed to be rescheduled, installer never got the message, the installer was running late, or just didn't bothered to call me back (I needed to call the store). They need to NOT schedule these instructions so close together that it's physically impossible for them to keep things straight or they need to estimate better. It's not the installers fault, Mike Swallow & his men are the most Amazingly Awesome Talented man ever, he knows his job gets it done and done right !! If this company was ever to loose him it would feel it in the sales big time.
