I bought a gas hot water heater only to find out after installing it in my home that my gas lines running to my house were going to have to be replaced. This would of been so expensive to replace all the lines it was more practical to just swap to electric. I took my tank back to Home Depot and they swapped me out for an electric water heater with absolutely no problem. Very good customer service!!

After my mom had a break in at her lake house near broken bow she needed lots of repairs such as new doors and flooring. Choosing home depot for the reasonable price and understanding of her schedule since she lived in Luther Oklahoma driving 4 hrs to the cabin made sense. WRONG!! This was a disaster from the start. 1st trip, wrong doors delivered, 2nd trip 42 boxes of flooring dropped at the bottom of the stairs because apparently bringing them in isn't part of the deal( thanks for saying that home depot). My mother had a massive heart attack a year ago & has 2 rods in her arm and is still in a brace with limited weight restrictions but had no choice but to drag 42 boxes up the stairs since she was alone. The contractors hired by home depot to do the job were amazing and so sweet but the customer service from this store is non existent. It's like "we made the sale screw if it's right now". When calling to talk to someone it's a series of 20 minute waits or let me check and I will call you back with no follow through. I would not ever recommend this store for any renovation needs.

Called before I arrived, so I knew what aisle to go and find the item I needed. But when I arrived at the store I turned in to park and was hit buy a shopping cart! People, please don't be so lazy!!! The cart corral was just 10-12ft away! Also the store is partially responsible as well. Anyway, the store was clean and not a lot of items just left laying around like other hardware stores.

Most of the time you can get help as needed. They have a good selection of stuff.

Just picked up a bunch of 2x6x8 treated boards. I had lots of good straight ones to choose from. People there are always friendly.
