I never leave reviews, but our experience with Carpet One definitely deserves a warning for other potential customers to read. We purchased a new wooden floor for our entire downstairs as well as carpet for two bedrooms in October of 2017. We were told they would take care of everything, and it would take about 2.5 weeks. However, our furniture was covered in dust since they never draped it all with a drop cloth, a worker set a corrosive chemical on our dining room table that ate away the varnish, the workers are not Akel Carpet One employees (they were contracted) so there was often professionalism and quality issues, the whole project took closer to 5 weeks instead of the 2.5 weeks promised, their trim work was the sloppiest job ever, and just a few months later, our wood floor is now popping up in multiple areas. When we contacted Carpet One about the issue, they were incredibly rude. And their solution was to take my dining room table away for a month to have it sanded down and then to have the same, sloppy contracted labor come in to “fix” our floors. I am not interested in their “solution” so I just tell everyone I know to not use them.

Akel's Carpet One did a wonderful job installing new hardwood flooring and carpet throughout my house. Their staff at the store were very helpful in assisting us with picking out the best flooring options for our house and taking into consideration our budget for the project. I have referred Akel's Carpet One to many of my friends as well who have been very happy with their work.

We had carpet installed. Within six months it rippled in a traffic area. Repairers came out and fixed that area stating that the carpet was not stretched when enstalled. A year later there are these areas in other places. I needed this enstalled by professionals so it would look good for a few years at least.

I highly recommend Richard and Erica and their team. Very professional and outstanding integrity - only place to buy flooring.
