This is a discount flooring company. I paid less than 1/2 retail price for flooring that I'll be using for the next several decades, so I'm very happy. The staff was adequate, accommodating, and helped me load the wood I purchased. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. To be fair to the negative reviewers, I suppose I DID have to wait about 1 minute before someone was free to answer my questions, and another 5 minutes for the forklift driver to retrieve my purchase. So, if your time is so valuable that you're willing to pay double to save a few minutes, maybe try somewhere else(?)

Went back to reorder more and I was the only one in the store and the employee was so rude. I walked out not spending another dime. When you do it yourself and that is the interaction you have when buying a product you think they would would be nice to a customer. No customers no business.

The key to having a happy experience with LL is that you need to do your homework. Read reviews of the flooring before buying, know how to accurately measure the square footage (as this is really a DIY store), and really know how to install your own floor. This place is really busy during high traffic times so if you are in a rush go on a weekday during the day when most people are at work. We got a great salesperson who stayed a little late to finish placing our order. Because the hardwood floor wasn't in the Tulsa or OKC stores, we made personal arrangements to go to Fayetteville, AR to pick it up as we were in a hurry (we had a home appraisal booked). We inspected every box (do this before accepting delivery or pick up!), and refused two boxes that had already been open. No problem from the store. The first bamboo flooring we bought we knew it easily scratched and indeed once it went down we had to get all the furniture feet padded and used floor rugs to cover the main traffic areas. Next time we bought, we upped the price of what we were going to spend and got another dark hardwood floor which has more durability. We love this 2nd choice so much better that we will replace our first area with it. This is a discount store folks. You need to know that going in and be knowledgeable about flooring. If you aren't then find a work guy who can do it all from start to finish who specializes in flooring. JMO.
