Online: 1 star.
We ordered a washing machine online. They called at 630am to say they didn't have it in stock and they were canceling our order. We looked at the description on the website and it said 1 was in stock. We called someone else at Lowe's, and 1 was in stock in the backroom! What in the...?
I don't know if they deliberately lied to get out of doing a free delivery, but the whole thing was pretty sketchy. Their corporate customer service said they could get it delivered to the store in 6 days, so why didn't the lady who called at 630am say that in the beginning? We would have waited. So they lose nearly a 1000 dollars on inconvenience.
On top of that, there was no evidence that they canceled our order. We called customer service and they canceled.
I'm not angry with them, but this is objectively bad.
Avoid their website, especially for big purchases.
Physical store: 3 stars.
The store is clean, the checkout is nice, nice employees, and the parking lot is great. It's hard to find things though. They could use more clarity in their layout.
If you can find what you're looking for, it's pretty easy to checkout and the store has overall good atmosphere.
But, relative to the competition, it's a good, not great, store.
