We were gifted a refrigerator as a housewarming gift and we received an email on the 27th of April that it was being delivered on the 28th, NO DELIVERY, then another on the 28th that it was being delivered on the 29th, AGAIN NO DELIVERY, then we received an email AND a call it was coming again, this time it came at 7:30pm DENTED!!!!!
SO....I immediately called the store because all the while we're in the process of moving from Whittier to Bloomington, quite a distance, and I spoke to Carrie a manager there and told her the fridge came dented and we're going to lose all of our food!!! She told me to accept the dented frige and she'd send a good one, just so my food wouldn't spoil.
So I agreed, BUT WHEN SHE TOLD THE DRIVER TO GO BACK HE REFUSED.
NO FRIGE....
So............I call Erwin, the next morning, another manager and he got authorization to cover our $200 worth of lost food AND he agreed to take an additional $300 off the price of the fridge.
LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES!!!!!!!!!!
Erwin credited my sister in law for $300 TOTAL.... Not $300 off the fridge and $200 for our lost food like he said.
Moral to the story: GET IT IN WRITING OR FORGET ABOUT IT THESE GUYS HAVE NO HONOR OR INTEGRITY.
Home Depot has customer service that is number ONE.
AGAIN AND AGAIN.
