California Hardwood Floors did a terrific job installing floors throughout our house! They are professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They guided us through the entire process from beginning to end. We especially appreciated their suggestions about the size of the wood and what direction to lay the wood. We recommend them highly.

I had Sharon and Cecy install the floors in an extension we added to our 1924 Spanish Colonial. We decided to go with a cork floor since we couldn't justify the cost of refinishing our whole home to match at this time. They came out and worked with my contractor and made sure the conditions were exactly right to install during our very humid summer. The floors were installed in two bedrooms and a hallway in a day and we love them even more than the original hardwood in the rest of the house. I'd highly recommend.

California Hardwood installed about 600 ft.² of narrow oak in our kitchen and family room. One man selected the right color and board length about six rows in front of the other man who nailed the flooring. It was like a dance to see them work in unison and so fast.(They previously moved all furniture out of the area and sealed off other rooms from the work area.) After sanding, they put on three coats of finish/sealer. This step was time critical since we had to be out of the house; and they finished sooner than expected! We anticipated a beautiful job, but were surprised to see just how beautiful the floors looked. I would definitely recommend California Hardwood Floors.

California Hardwood Floors installed wood flooring in 3 of our bedrooms, including closets (diagonally set) and did a beautiful job. They were able to get the same type and color of wood we had put in some 10 years previously (due to their almost exclusive relationship with some suppliers that other companies don't have) and blend it perfectly. When one of our very skilled, DIY, perfectionist, friends came over and saw how the flooring was set diagonally, he acknowledged how difficult it is to do as floors are not perfect angles, and what a great job the installers did to prevent gaps. Not only are their installers skilled, they are clean, show up on time, prep the surrounding areas to prevent residual damage, always clean up at the end of the day, and they're even happy while they work : ) A short time later we had a water leak damaging areas of both the newer and older floors, of course we called Sharon and Cecy back with complete confidence that they would help us through that nightmare, and they did. Their communication start to finish is always honest and efficient. Once I talk my hubby into a few more rooms they'll be back ; ) I would definitely recommend California Hardwood, Sharon, Cecy, and their crew!
