We were going to replace our kitchen floor, parquet, and we contacted Peninsula Hardwood Floors. Joel came out to give us a estimate and explained that he could refinish our old tired floors. He was saving us thousands of dollars and added our entry flooring to the job. We were very pleased as his crew was on time, taped rooms off with plastic sheeting to control the dust, cleaned up each day after work and worked when they had scheduled our job. The same crew did the job from start to finish with no interruptions. Joel was on site to make sure the job was been done in a timely fashion and to our satisfaction.The floors look fantastic and will for years to come. We have no reservations in recommending Peninsula Hardwood Flooring.

Peninsula Hardwood Floors recently installed new hardwood floors in our hallway and bedrooms and refinished the existing hardwood floor in our living room. Joel gave us a very competitive quote and performed the work for the quoted price. The crew was very professional. They were on time each day, taped off and covered the furniture we stored in our kitchen to protect it, and helped us move a couple of heavy pieces of furniture that my wife and I could not lift. Joel visited our house several times to apply sample stains and make sure we found the stain we liked. He was also very knowledgeable about the hardwood species and helped us match the new hardwood floors to the existing floor. Joel worked with our schedules. My wife and I were getting ready to have our first child and needed to have the installation performed prior to our due date, and also needed to have the staining and sealant applied while we were out of town (so that my wife could avoid breathing any fumes). Joel and his team performed the work when they said would, completed it on time, and did the staining while we were away. Joel and his team also went above and beyond. We had a box in one of our closets that was built around a heating duct. They removed the carpet on the box, laid wood, and stained it to match the floors at no additional cost. And after the job was finished, I dinged several spots on the floors moving furniture back into place. I was so disappointed in myself, but Joel sent his team back out to our house (all the way out in Pacifica) and repaired each of the dings at no additional cost! I will use Joel and Peninsula Hardwood Floors again in the future and wholeheartedly recommend them. They did quality work on time and on budget, were professional, and went above and beyond. And the floors look beautiful, we couldn't be happier.

Our Brazilian hardwood floor was in desperate need of a refinish. Discovered Penninsula Hardwood floors through the internet and liked the idea that it was a family run business...that had good ratings!! Upon assessment of our floors, Joel appeared very knowledgeable ...addressing the issue of a few stains and planks that possibly needed a replacement. They finished the job in a timely manner...with attention given to maintaining dust control...and cleanup upon completion. Our floors were transformed!! All was done in a professional manner, communicating with us through the process. Would highly recommend PHF!

My wife and I were very impressed with all of the workers from Peninsula Hardwood Floors. From Juan, who came out to look at our project and gave us the bid; to Joel, who was the on-site manager during the project, to the front line installers .... everyone was very professional, skillful, and efficient. Our project was somewhat unusual because it involved fixing a problem from the installation of laminate by a different company about two years ago. The concrete subfloor had not been properly leveled, so the laminate had never been even. Peninsula Hardwood Floors removed the laminate, leveled the concrete subfloor, and then reinstalled the laminate, which was still in like-new condition. The results have exceeded our expectations, with the floor now completely level and the laminate looking better than it ever has. It is clear that the people at Peninsula Hardwood Floors are experts at what they do, and have a commitment to excellent customer service as well.
