I shouldn't be surprised at their level of customer service. They're consistently top notch. I'm a veteran and unlike their competitors, they offer a discount to veterans but don't make it impossible to actually get the discount. Simply register at the customer service desk by answering a few questions and it's done. I will be driving past the home Depot and an extra 6+ miles to Lowe's. The employees always thank me for my military service and I thanks you for your customer service! I'm a dedicated customer for life.

Today I experienced both ends of the customer service spectrum. I received terrible service from both my local store and Lowe's Corporate. After wasting 90 minutes on the phone with Corporate my issue was forward a Lowe's store located across the country from me in Modesto, California. I was furious. I explained the source of my frustration to Julia at this Modesto store. This was not her problem. I knew that and was ready to reengage in my battle with Corporate. But then, before I could hang up, Julia asks for some information and offers TO CALL MY LOCAL STORE AND HOLD THEIR HAND THROUGH THE PROCESS! Wow! Now that is customer service. Thank you Julia for saving me from that black hole of incompetence. MESSAGE TO LOWES CORPORATE: You need more Julias.

- I've been shopping at Lowe's for probably 30 years. They usually have what I want. But the chance of getting someone to actually help you is about 30% if you're lucky.

The rude little sassafras with the silver hair is extremely unprofessional to his co workers in front of customers. Otherwise, I love this location and the professionalism of the other employees.
