I used Home Depot to buy lawn chairs online. My first experience using the store as a pick-up for my purchase. Went off without a hitch. Employees were professional, friendly and helpful. A welcome change from Home Depot's past reputation of not ever able to find someone to help you. Not this time, they were terrific. Nice improvement!

They usually have what I need. I just have to know what I need and where to find it, because the customer service here is hit and miss. The last time we were there, two cashiers were arguing over which of them would suspend his/her side duties to ring up the 3 customers waiting. Once I waited for assistance in lumber for over 10 minutes. I called the store, asked for lumber, no one answered, the operator came back on to inform me, and I said, "Yes, i know. I'm standing in your lumber department, and I've been standing here for 15 minutes, along with another customer who is about to walk out. Perhaps you could call a supervisor to make sure the employees aren't dead." It took less than a minute for 2 kids to come running from the break room, tying on aprons as they mumbled vague excuses.

I’ve gone to this Home Depot a lot the past 2 years due to remodeling my house. Never had any issues. Usually very helpful. I had bought paint for the outside of my house at the end of summer they were having a sell. I fell in love with the color and my land owner had said I can buy whatever color I want. After buying the paint she decided it was to dark for her. I came back to Home Depot without the paint and they told me to bring the paint in and they will lighten it for free. I waited a while due to the weather got cold and rain came, now that we’re about to have no rain I got excited to paint. Brought the paint in the guy who helped months ago no longer works there and the new guy stated they do not do that. I guess I’ll be doing it my self. It’s my fault for not bringing it in right away to get help. I got 1x3 wood and most of them were not straight had to really dig through and look. Serveal empolyees walked by and did not offer to help. Even though I’m 5 months pregnant. Thanks so much for the wonderful experiences, I’m sad this Home Depot has turned into this. I’ll be going to Lowe’s from now on.

The quick disconnect heater hose on my suv started to leak yet again. Picked up a 5/8 x 1/2 x 5/8 tee, hose cutter & clamps. 45 minutes later im back on the road. It's not pretty, but it works.
