This place is fantastic! After a horrid experience with Home Depot and their installers, Armstrong Carpet and Linoleum Company renewed my faith in excellent service. Liz couldn't have been more patient with me in figuring out the type of carpet I needed, and the three brothers who installed the carpet were very professional and did a great job. I will be buying all of my carpet from Armstrong Carpet and Linoleum Company going forward and will recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Awesome!! I’ve been doing business with Steve and his store for over 24 years! I still support the local franchises, ethical and professional! Best I’ve experienced in SF.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and great service. Armstorng has helped us adjust and replace 5 blinds, and installed one runner rug at our property. They have been exceptional both in the work they have done and the impeccable standard they have set. In my experience they were a fair bit cheaper then the competition.

Terry Pate here, Rebecca Connor's husband. I've been A floor covering sales rep for 35 years, A number of those years while I lived in San Francisco. I've known many floor covering retailers but almost none as honest and competent as Steve. Conversely, in those 35 years, I have known many contractors and I have found very few of them to be competent and honest. Although I do not know about this particular drama, knowing Steve, I give absolutely no credence to the story as reported in the review by this contractor that I came upon in Google.

This review is based on my personal experience as a customer and consumer doing business with Armstrong Carpet & Linoleum and the owner of this business Steve Balestrieri and does not involve or concern any outside parties, persons, or any other company or entity. I met with Steve Balestrieri the owner and went over the details of our vinyl flooring tiles. I gave him three specific different colors for a Vinyl Tile Floor, and he placed the order. Two weeks later when the time came to do the install, come to find out he ordered one of the tiles in the wrong color.. So I called him to find out what he did wrong and he had the nerve to tell me I gave him the wrong color and that it was my fault he ordered the wrong color. So to make a long story short: He keeps denying his mistake. And he refused to give me a full refund for the wrong tiles he ordered. A total of 525.00 + dollars that he refuses to refund me. I am a General Contractor , been doing business in the SF and Peninsula Bay Area for over 25 years and I have never run across a more smug & dishonest person like this in my life. I contacted the Northern California Sales Rep for the Vinyl tile Product that Steve ordered and found out the product could be sent back with a restocking fee..!!!! At no time did Steve mention the product could be returned to the manufacturer, he just held back on my refund 525+ dollars. it was only after I got the Rep involved did I get a response back regarding the option of returning the materials. I have yet to receive my refund less the restocking fee. Which as far as I am concerned, still is not enough, I want a full refund, it was his incompetence in ordering the wrong tile color and I should not have to pay for his mistake. And Regardless , if I had given him the wrong colors (which I did not) nowhere on his contract does it specify that the order is a custom order and non refundable..!!!..There are no terms and conditions on the contract specifying the product/materials are non returnable/refundable. I am now stuck fighting this out through my VISA /MasterCard Company, I am filing a complaint with the BBB, and I am placing this review everywhere on the internet to warn people of the business practices of this company . Stay away from this company unless you want to be ripped off.
