Horrible countertop purchase experience. We purchased $5500 worth of quartz countertop and installation. Took them a month to process the invoice and send it over to their installer ( O&R construction, based out of Modesto ). The lady that helped us was out sick and no one else can help process the paperwork because they said since that person started the paperwork with us, she has to complete the process. Called the store manager about it and he said that was not true, and that anyone in the cabinet department can complete the paperwork and send the invoice over to the countertop installer. Lazy employees!!!!
The day of installation came and the countertop installers were good and the countertop came out looking good with one issue. They did the stove cut out inside the house which I though it was normal. They didn't isolate out the kitchen and contain the dust from the dry saw quartz cutting, resulting in my whole living room being dirty with quartz dust which my wife found out later that evening when she had to clean the whole bottom floor. The wife contacted Lowe's and the installation manager was surprised that the installer did the stove cutout inside and she didn't believe us. We sent her pictures, too. We asked for them to send out someone to do a thorough cleaning or compensate my wife for her eight hours of cleaning. Lowe's contacted the installation company, O&R, with our complaints. O&R manager said they did nothing wrong and Lowe's installation manger took the side of O&R.
No more home renovation work from Lowe's. We learned our lesson.
