I went to purchase 200' of various color 12 AWG wire and walk into the store, went to contractors desk and ask if they can send someone over to cut some wire for me... 10 minutes later I called the store from my phone and let them know I was standing there at the wire and have been waiting for, now, 15 minutes... The customer assistance said they would send someone right over... another 10 minutes later I noticed a call station at the wire location and pushed the button. Over the next 15 min the called station announced 3 times over the store intercom system "help need in the wire cutting area" .. 6 minutes later I call Ace Hardware ask about the pricing which was 1/2 the price and ordered my wire from Ace then left the store without ever receiving any help...

Doing a quick drive by to the Lowe's I discovered they have new nice parking in front of the store for online shoppers. 15 minute parking only with a separate customer service area and their self service check out were clearly marked card only or cash and card. #LOCALGUIDE

Found what we needed but they didn't have any self check put lanes open and there was one cashier open. We were in line for over 10 minutes. When it was our turn I asked if she could call another cashier because we had been waiting for so long and there were still multiple people behind us. She said their staff was limited and that she was it. I said I thought it was strange that they wouldn't value helping their customers over bringing in lawn mowers from outside and she said the guy doing that doesn't know how to cashier. She looked down and didn't speak anymore. So I didn't bother mentioning that I had seen at least 5 employees bringing in things from outside. Not to mention the sign saying they'd call more cashiers of more then 3 customers were in line. We were the 5th when we arrived, when we left there were at least 7 behind us. We left frustrated and very unimpressed.

Decent prices, often hard to find help. Some of the staff are more interested in avoiding customers than helping. Great selection tho, so if you're willing to find stuff yourself it's a good place to go.
