Having just completed the latest Project with Leslie Flooring and having worked with Scott for over 30 years, know he’s top notch in workmanship, professionalism, understanding people’s needs, delivering outstanding product and service to any project. When it comes to contractors, Scott’s the model, a framework most contractors can’t meet. Amazing to work with, helps resource and find value when requesting unusual materials, cuts through hardwood floor marketing non-sense to establish considerable value in every client’s hardwood floor dreams. Add in his can-do, easy attitude to lighten clients’ fears and fixes problems when the rubber hits the road, the real world challenge. It’s very rare other design professionals and tradespeople step into an unfamiliar project and say, “This guy does incredible work, it’s beautiful, it’s level, the best hardwood floor install I’ve seen!”

It’s a pleasure to give a shout out to Leslie Hardwood Flooring for the refinishing job they performed for us in March 2017. We first employed them about a half dozen years ago to repair a small section of water-damaged kitchen hardwood floor caused by a leaky refrigerator ice maker. It was a tricky job well done. After soliciting three competitive bids, we again selected them to refinish our entire downstairs (about 1500 square feet). Because the flooring refinish required removal of all the downstairs furniture, we decided also to repaint it as well. Scott, the flooring owner, delivered an additional, unexpected benefit by referring us to The Young Professionals, a painting outfit with whom he had previously coordinated floor refinish/interior paint jobs. Both vendors coordinated their respective tasks well and both finished their work on time. Leslie’s workers were skillful, amiable, trustworthy and professional. We had no concerns about leaving our home in their care for the five days it took to complete the job. The finished floors entirely met our expectations and the floors now look essentially brand new. We’re delighted with the result and the process it took to get them, so with confidence and enthusiasm we recommend Leslie hardwood Flooring.
