The salesman was uncommunicative, disinterested, and actually sarcastic and rude to me. I went in to see about carpeting our wooden stairs. I went in intending to look at and select appropriate samples and to arrange for an estimate— and to purchase carpet and installation from this shop. After about 15 minutes of trying to work with this disgruntled man I told him I could not do business with them—and left. I still don’t understand why a salesperson would behave like that.

We purchased an area rug off the floor which was fine. We ordered two additional area rugs and were told the lead time would be 3-4 weeks. We had an event we wanted them for. We were told to call back after 2 weeks and get a delivery date. At that point we were told the rugs were back ordered and it would be 4-6 weeks, or maybe 8 weeks. I called back after 7 weeks and it took a week for the salesman to get an answer from the factory. The new deliver date was now a month away making for a 12 week lead time. The salesman wasn't even remotely apologetic or diplomatic. I will never purchase carpet from these people again.
