I've used the Wholesale House, for flooring and carpet, several times beginning in 1987 through today. They, Gail and Heidi, are always very helpful start to finish. The prices are the best and they loan out large size samples.

What a wonderful place. I knew I needed carpet, wood, and tile, but didn't know how to go about it until a friend recommended The Wholesale House. They supplied advice, help, and beautiful carpet. Although they did not do tile work, they recommended a wonderful person, Gordon Bitler, who has just completed a beautiful job for my entryway. The Tile and Marble Outlet supplied a great product and Gordon has just completed the entryway - he is a real artist and the design is perfect. Next is installation of beautiful carpet in three rooms and laminate in the hallway, done by Nick Shubin. Thanks to all the help and coordination provided by Gail at the Wholesale House, my home will look better than new inside.

It looks very small, so you wouldn't think they would have a lot of products, but they have more than enough. Carpets and wood flooring, with a wide range of types and quality. After shopping at other stores, I thought the prices here were better. In addition, they do NOT do installation, so they have no stake in that end (other stores may pay their installers a subpar wage). They will hook you up with some excellent installers. I ended up buying a very nice engineered (essentially plywood) maple floor for about the same price as floor store chains were charging for laminate! And don't even think about comparing to Home depot products.
