Lowe's Home Improvement

My goodness, what a bunch of clown's these people at Lowe's are, my sincere advice to you is to never purchase anything online or in any Lowe's store. Here's what happened, I purchased a dishwasher at Lowe's online and want it delivered to my address in Half Moon Bay. That went smoothly anyway, until an hour later when an employee at the Sunnyvale store phoned me and said that Half Moon bay is outside the Sunnyvale 20 mile radius and they could not deliver!!! I'm like ... W.T.H.? I don't care that Sunnyvale Lowe's can't deliver, I purchased online, so why is the Sunnyvale store getting involved ??? ... it so happens that Lowe's have this stupid @$$ logic that guesses your closest Lowe's store, and then sticks you to that as your default store, so if your delivery address is 20+ miles further from this default store, then they can't deliver, and they have no solution to re-route your order to a store that can deliver, isn't that insanely stupid? ... how are these guys still in business? Their Store personnel are a joke, you keep getting cut-off. Then I called their 800 help-line, the conversation with this guy was going good until I mentioned I wanted to cancel my order since the store can't deliver and they're giving me no solution to get it delivered ... then guess what, that clown starting saying the line was going bad and he couldn't hear me! ... But the line quality was just fine until I mentioned I wanted to cancel my order! Wow, they must have a policy to say the line is going bad when you say you with want to cancel an order or what a refund. HERE'S A MESSAGE TO YOU JOKERS & CLOWNS AT LOWE'S So guess what you Lowe's Joker's ... there's a nice little agency called BBB, you'll be getting a case against you for a "a deficiency in the company's marketplace performance" ... basically you stick a person to a default store incorrectly, if not within a 20 mile radius you cannot deliver, THEN attempts to get a refund for canceling an order does not result in a full refund. Basically for my $700 you dinged my card, you only gave me $33 refund, what's up with that? Oh yeah, and another thing, I've disputed the transaction with my credit card issuer, so I'll be getting my Money back! QUICK UPDATE - Filing a BBB against them really works, I got a corporate issue resolution guy to get my money back on the card, I also got a Gift Card for the trouble, not that much, I think I could have haggled it up, but was not worth the time and energy already spent. Either way, never shopping here again, not out of spite, but really don't want to go through all the hoopla just to get an appliance or similar stuff delivered, Home Depot my friends, that's were I'll be shopping for my home improvement needs!

Don't buy anything that needs delivery from here. I ordered a washing machine and a dryer here and they told me that I need to wait 1 month. Because I really liked the model I said I will wait. One week later, I checked the status and they told me that it's here and ready to delivery (WOAW, they didn't tell me, I had to find out myself). Then on day before the delivery, I got a call confirmed that it's for the next day. I took a half day off (Tuesday), but the order never came. I called to ask, they told me that it's confirmed for today, not the appliances never left store because they *think* I want it delivery for Saturday. Then they told me that the date was changed multiple times which I never asked. (the note was made by a guy named "KC", I don't even remember talking to)

This location is reasonably well-stocked and most of the staff is helpful. But the self check stations don't accept epay such as Samsung Pay; you have to go to one of the attended stations. Which would be fine if the store posted that at the self service stations. Not sure why they differentiate accepted payment types like that.

Sadly most everything is made in China here but overall a large and good selection of items. The staff is friendly but no one here seems to know anything about anything. There is never a tool guy who knows tools well, never anyone in the garden section to even ask for help at all and if you do find someone they have no idea but at least they tell you that they don't know. Thank God these big corporate chains haven't eaten ip all of the smaller stores because at least you can always find someone at the smaller stores who know about their section and they find you and ask if you need help.

Worst customer experience ever. Avoid this store for the sake of your sanity. Scheduled delivery for me thrice and never showed up. I had contactors waiting idly for 4 days and nobody even bothers to update you on cancellation of delivery. You are expected to keep waiting and then never get any response on phone. Gabby the manager was a complete disaster. Never going back here.
